Oveit makes it simple for your team to handle ticket check-ins, verify ticket validity, and estimate attendance trends — all through a dedicated check-in account.

- Creating a check-in staff account

Step 1: Create a Check-In Staff Account #
- Go to the Team Section
In your Oveit dashboard, navigate to Team > Users. - Add a New Team Member
Click on “Create User”. - Set Up Credentials
- Create a username for the staff (e.g.,
checkin.staff
). - Add their email address.
- Set a password or send them an invitation.

- Assign Role: Event Check-In Staff
From the dropdown, choose the “Event check-in staff” role.
This grants them access to:- Scan tickets using the mobile app
- Check in attendees
- Pair RFID tags (if applicable)
- View attendance trends by date (but not revenue data)
Step 2: Attendance Report Access #
The check-in staff can view:
- Visitor Flow by Date:
Helps estimate attendance trends for specific dates and events.

Even if an event (like a demo) has no ticket registrations, real events will display a graph of expected attendance across multiple dates and ticket types.
Note: Check-in staff cannot view sales or revenue-related data.
Step 3: Using the Check-In Account (Web app) #
Web Dashboard Experience: #
Once logged in as a check-in staff:
- Access to All Events
- Limited permissions focused on:
- Viewing attendees
- Scanning tickets
- Accessing attendance reports
Mobile App (Oveit Check-in Web App): #
- Press the “Scan” button or visit Oveit Check-in web app.
- Log in using the check-in staff’s email and password.
- Use the simplified interface to:
- Scan tickets at entry points
- Scan addons at relevant points in the venue
- Monitor attendee flow in real-time
