Phase 1: Define Your “Offer” #
Before touching the software, get the strategy right.
- [ ] Choose your tier name: (e.g., “The Splash Club,” “Gold Member,” or “Family VIP”).
- [ ] Set the monthly price: A good rule of thumb is to make the monthly cost about 1/3 of a full-day ticket price.
- [ ] List the “Core” perks: Unlimited admission is standard, but what else? (e.g., 10% off food, free locker rentals, or “After Dark” event access).
- [ ] Identify the “Family Bundle” discount: Decide how much a family saves if they link 4+ people to one “wallet.”
Phase 2: Dashboard Setup (In Oveit) #
Time to make it official in the system.
- [ ] Create “New Season Pass”: Use the button in the Oveit dashboard to start the process.
- [ ] Enable Recurring Billing: Ensure the “saved payment method” option is active so guests are charged monthly.
- [ ] Set Validity Dates: Decide if this membership runs for the full calendar year or just your “open” months.
- [ ] Upload Add-ons: Add things like “Meal Plans” or “Tube Rentals” that members can stack onto their base price.
Phase 3: The Guest Experience (Wearables) #
This is how the guest interacts with your park.
- [ ] Assign RFID/Wearables: Ensure your front-desk team has a stack of wristbands ready to link to new accounts.
- [ ] Set Loyalty Triggers: Program the system to give rewards (e.g., “Visit 3 times in a month, get $5 bonus credit on your wristband”).
- [ ] Test the “Family Wallet”: Make sure a “Parent” wristband can pay for a “Child” wristbandβs snack.
Phase 4: Staff Training & Launch #
Your team is your best sales force.
- [ ] Train the Front Gate: Can your staff explain the difference between a one-day ticket and a membership in 30 seconds?
- [ ] Update Signage: Ensure there are QR codes at the ticket booth that link directly to the sign-up page.
- [ ] Test the “Upgrade” Path: Practice moving a guest who bought a daily ticket this morning over to a membership before they leave.
π‘ Pro-Tip: Start with just one membership tier first. Itβs easier for your staff to explain and easier for your guests to understand. You can always add a “Platinum” tier later!
