Oveit allows you to offer your clients the option to pay by bank transfer—a common method for conferences and other events. Follow the instructions below to enable and configure this option on your platform.
1. Activating the Bank Transfer Option #
- Access the Administration Panel:
Log in to your Oveit account and navigate to the Payment Settings section. - Enable the “Bank Transfer” Option:
Check whether the bank transfer payment method is activated. If it isn’t, enable it by selecting the appropriate option. - Save Your Settings:
Ensure you save your changes so that the bank transfer option becomes available to your customers during the ticket purchase process.
2. Configuring Your Bank Details #
Once the option is activated, you need to provide the necessary bank details so that your clients can complete their transfers.
- Enter Your Banking details / IBAN:
In the designated area for the Bank Transfer method, input yourBanking Number / IBAN. If you have multiple accounts, you can add each one accordingly. - Add Additional Payment Details (if needed):
If you expect international transfers, include any extra payment information required—such as your SWIFT code. - Finalize the Configuration:
After entering all the required details, save your settings to complete the setup process.
3. Order Process with Bank Transfer Payment #
The bank transfer payment process is executed in two main steps:
Step 1: Order Placement #
- Client Places an Order:
The client selects tickets and places an order on your Oveit platform.
- Email with Payment Information:
Immediately after the order is placed, the client receives an email containing all the necessary payment details (a Proforma invoice).
- Order Status – Pending:
The order is recorded in the system with a Pending status. In this state, tickets are reserved, but they are not yet sent to the client.
Step 2: Payment Confirmation and Order Approval #
- Verify Payment Receipt:
Once the client has completed the bank transfer, check your bank account to confirm that the payment has been received. - Manually Update Order Status:
Because the system cannot automatically verify bank transfers, you need to manually change the order status from Pending to Approved.
- Automated Delivery:
Once the order status is updated, Oveit automatically sends the fiscal invoice and the tickets (or registration links) to the client.
4. Important Considerations #
- Manual Verification:
Since the payment is not automatically confirmed by the system, regularly monitor your bank account and update the order status as soon as you receive the payment. - Accurate Bank Details:
Double-check that your IBAN and any additional payment details are correct to avoid any confusion or payment delays. - Common and Efficient Method:
Bank transfer is a widely used and effective payment method for events. By offering this option, you provide an additional flexible payment method to your customers.
Conclusion #
Setting up the bank transfer payment option in Oveit is straightforward. Once you activate and configure it with your bank details, the order process becomes nearly automated. Just remember to manually update the order status from Pending to Approved upon receiving the payment so that your clients receive their fiscal invoice and tickets or registration links.
