Payments, Customer journey and Engagement
Cashless Payments
The NFC card or wristband is either used anonymously or paired with your visitors’ data. This data can be the name, contact information, access data (where they can go), and add-ons data (what they can claim). Whenever cards or wristbands are initiated, a digital wallet is initiated as well. The wallet can be used to pay for goods and services by just tapping a vending point’s Oveit Pay POS.
Vending points can sell goods and services and collect payments by logging into their account on Android mobile devices, equipped with NFC chips. Vendors edit their menu and when visitors want to buy something they scan the NFC card or wristband and the amount sold is deducted from the visitor’s digital balance.
Oveit Pay allows you to get relevant insights into what’s being purchased, by who, and from where. This way you can build better customer journeys, stock the best-selling products and invite in your ecosystem to your favorite vending partners.
Access control
NFC/RFID wristbands and cards are great ways to quickly scan visitors in. From a festival venue to a theme park, all great venues use contactless means to check. access credentials. Oveit Pay can operate as a tool to check access credentials for your visitors. With our software, you can set up complex access management credentials according to the visitors’ ticket options and you can scan visitors by using either smartphones or NFC readers.
How can I use NFC/RFID wristbands to increase access speed?
Contactless chips are a great way to speed up access to an event or venue and get real-time data on visitor flow. As an example, you can set up access points at the entrance, at special areas in your event or venue and you can specify who has access and who does not. With Oveit, there’s no limit to how you can split and customize the visitor journey.

Multi-day passes
Being connected to your guests’ accounts, the NFC chip lets you know at any given moment which are their access credentials.
A simple tap will show you if access is granted for one or more days (essential information if you hold a multi-day festival) and if access is allowed to a particular area (ex: V.I.P. lounge).
At the end of your event and during the event you can view real-time info on where your visitors are spending their time and which are their favorite activities.
Pre-packing additional perks
If you use addons for your tickets (like free T-Shirts, water, beers, etc) attendees can claim them with a simple tap of the hand.
Using Android smartphones (and later on iOS devices) as NFC readers your team members can see who used the add-ons and who didn’t, every piece of information is immediately updated.

Treasure hunts
Treasure hunts are another perfect way to engage the audience. But how can we use NFC technology in this case? Each time a contestant reaches a checkpoint he taps the wristband to the indicated NFC receiver and receives another clue.
