In this quick guide, we’ll walk you through the process of resending tickets to your attendees using Oveit. Whether your event is a conference, convention, or any gathering where tickets are required, Oveit offers a simple method to ensure your attendees receive their tickets efficiently.
Step 1: Ensure an Email Field is Added
To begin, you need to make sure that your registration form, which is Step 4 in the Oveit event setup, includes at least one email address field. This allows the system to send tickets directly to the registered attendees. In this example, an email address field has been added and saved in the registration forms.
Step 2: Access Your Attendee List
Once someone registers for your event, you will be able to see all the attendees in a list by navigating to the “Attendees” section. Here, you’ll find details about each participant, including the option to resend tickets.
Step 3: Resend the Tickets
Next to each attendee’s name, you will see a small icon resembling a paper plane. By clicking on this icon, the system will automatically resend the ticket to the attendee. If an email address was provided during registration, the system will use that email. However, if no email was included, the system will automatically search for and use the email provided during the order process.
For events where multiple delegates are associated with one registration, such as conferences, the ticket will be resent to the specific delegate’s email listed in the registration form.
When to Use This Feature
This feature is particularly helpful for on-site registration when attendees might misplace their tickets. With just a click, you can quickly resend the ticket, allowing your attendees to proceed smoothly.
Using Oveit’s ticket resend function ensures a seamless experience for both event organizers and attendees, making sure everyone has their tickets on hand when needed.
